The following information has been circulated by West Sussex County Council (WSCC) in relation to the reports of Coronavirus (2019-nCov) in the Sussex area. 

WSCC is working closely with National Health colleagues and is following Public Health England’s advice. 

Public Health England is leading the response and working to trace those people who have come into contact with confirmed cases of Coronavirus. If you have not been contacted by Public Health England you do not need to take any action; you should continue with your normal daily routine. 

Please continue to maintain excellent hygiene standards and use common-sense steps to prevent the spread of illnesses. Wash your hands regularly with soap and water and use tissues to reduce the spread of infections. For any general health queries please call NHS 111.
