REGULATION 16, PUBLIC CONSULTATION RE-RUN

As you may already be aware, the Plaistow and Ifold Parish Neighbourhood Plan was published in February 2020 for public consultation. However, due to the impact of Covid19 restrictions during the consultation it is necessary for Chichester District Council to repeat the formal consultation period. Details of the consultation are set out below and the consultation period will end at 5pm on Thursday 29 October 2020.
If you have previously submitted representations, there is no need to do so again. All previously received representations will be sent to the Examiner along with all those submitted during this further consultation period. However, we would draw your attention to an additional document, Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Plaistow and Ifold Neighbourhood Plan Addendum May 2019, that is nowincluded as part of the suite of documents for consultation. Therefore, you may wish to review your representations in the light of this document.
Plaistow and Ifold Parish Council, as the qualifying body, has prepared a neighbourhood development plan entitled Plaistow and Ifold Parish Neighbourhood Plan 2014-2029 for the parish with the help of the local community. The plan sets out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
Copies of the Plaistow and Ifold Parish Neighbourhood Plan and supporting documentation are available to view on the District Council’s website http://www.chichester.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplan
wishing to examine a hard copy set of the suite of documents may
do so either at Holy Trinity
Church - Wednesdays only, 10.00 – 16.00 or by contacting the Parish Clerk by email firstname.lastname@example.org
and arrangements will be made for you to collect the documents, or they can be delivered to and collected from your home address.
Representation forms are available in hard copy from Holy Trinity Church (Wednesdays only) or via the Parish Clerk; or electronically, via CDC’s website and from the Parish Clerk via email.
The period for submission of representations will run from Thursday 3 September until Thursday 29 October 2020. Representations should arrive no later than 5.00pm on 29 October 2020. All representations received will be available to view publicly.
How to make representations:
• Printed response forms are available at Holy Trinity, or from the Parish Clerk by email email@example.com or can be downloaded and filled in electronically by visiting http://www.chichester.gov.uk/neighbourhoodplan
• Completed response forms should be sent to: Neighbourhood Planning, Chichester District Council, East Pallant House, 1 East Pallant, Chichester PO19 1TY

All comments will be publicly available and identifiable by name and (where applicable) organisation. Please note that any other personal information will be processed by Chichester District Council in line with the principles and rights set out in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016 (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, which cover such things as why and for how long we use, keep and look after your personal data.
Please note that any representations may include a request to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision under regulation 19 in relation to the neighbourhood development plan.
